Your website needs regular care

An unmaintained website is a security risk and a ticking time bomb. Outdated plugins get hacked. Ignored backups fail when you need them most.

We've seen businesses lose their entire website to attacks that could have been prevented with basic updates. We've watched companies scramble when their site goes down and they have no backup. It doesn't have to be this way.

With a maintenance plan, We handle the boring but essential work—updates, backups, security monitoring—so you can focus on running your business. When something does go wrong, you have someone to call who already knows your site.

Security First

Regular updates patch vulnerabilities before attackers can exploit them. Prevention is far cheaper than recovery.

Performance Monitoring

We watch your site's speed and uptime. If something slows down or goes offline, we know before you do.

Daily Backups

Automatic daily backups stored offsite. If disaster strikes, we can restore quickly with minimal data loss.

True story

A client came to us after their WordPress site was hacked. No backups. Three years of content gone. The recovery cost £2,500 and took two weeks—and we still lost some data permanently. A £75/month maintenance plan would have prevented it entirely.

FAQs

Common questions

Can I cancel anytime?

Yes. All plans are month-to-month with 30 days notice. No long-term contracts, no cancellation fees. We prefer clients who stay because they're happy, not because they're locked in.

Do I need to host with you?

No. We can maintain sites on any hosting provider, though We recommend quality managed WordPress hosting for best results. If you want hassle-free hosting too, We offer that through simontodd.host (£15/month for WordPress, £55/month for applications).

What if I need more development time?

Just let us know. Additional hours are £40/hour for Essential/Professional clients, or £35/hour for retainer clients. For larger projects, We'll quote a fixed price.

What about sites you didn't build?

Happy to maintain them. We'll do an initial audit to understand the setup and flag any issues. If there are significant problems (security vulnerabilities, bad code), We'll let you know what needs fixing and quote separately for remediation work.

How quickly do you respond to issues?

Essential: Next business day. Professional: Same business day. Retainer: Same day, including emergency out-of-hours support. Critical issues (site down, security breach) always get immediate attention regardless of plan.

What platforms do you support?

Primarily WordPress, WooCommerce, and PrestaShop. We also maintain custom Laravel applications and can discuss other platforms on a case-by-case basis.
